What this is
Barbie Loves Christmas is a simple idea from Shawn and Mindy Keen of AI For The Blind. Mindy is the Barbie of this operation, and this is her kind of project: feed people, no fuss.
We are raising donations to give $50 Visa gift cards to blind and low vision families, so each family can buy their own holiday meal. Not a food box somebody else picked out. Their meal, their table, their way.
100% of net proceeds go to the gift cards. AI For The Blind Corporation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, EIN 33-1941068.
Where we are right now
So far we have raised $100, which covers 2 holiday meals. Our goal is 10 meals, which is $500. We only give away cards we actually have in hand, no promises we cannot keep. Thanksgiving cards go out by Friday, November 20, 2026, and anything raised past the goal rolls toward Christmas meals.
Sponsor a meal
Every dollar goes into the pot. Here is what your gift does:

- $25 — covers half a family's meal.
- $50 — sponsors one full holiday meal for one family.
- $100 — sponsors two full holiday meals.
